Farewell Blugirl! Blumarine launches Be Blumarine that will substitute the old second line.
The second line of Blumarine – Blugirl – will be abandoned soon in favor of the new Be Blumarine brand a new fresh and younger line, thanks to the modern creativity of two exceptional designers.
Styles and trends in fashion change quickly, and fashion biz must be able to move just as quickly. Be Blumarine is the new brand that will renovate the Italian fashion brand.
The business of the companies that make fashion is constantly reshaping itself. After last fiftheen flourishing years, when companies got closer to their potential customers thanks to new lines and ready-to-wear, the trend now seems to be exhausted.
For these reasons, Blufin has decided to interrupt Blugirl, a fashion line now suspended between being accessible and being the alter ego of ‘mother’ Blumarine, and to concentrating rather on a totally different brand.
Be Blumarine is a brand designed for a young audience, with affordable items and a lower price range. It exploits the younger side of the brand, in order to guarantee original touches and to give life to contemporary proposals.
The creative direction will be entrusted to the designers of Au Jour Le Jour, Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez.
Launch event is already scheduled at the Blufin showroom to explain the change in positioning and of course to present Be Blumarine Pre-fall ’19 collection.
Forgot the classic presentations to buyers and the press, rumors are speaking of a sensory event. A showing able to transmit the new Be Experience of Blumarine.
However, to see the creations of the new fashion designers at their maximum splendor, we will have to wait until Be Blumarine AW19 collection, which will be presented at Milan Fashion Week in January.
