Eraldo Poletto leaves the position of Chief Executive Officer of Salvatore Ferragamo group.
The next March 8 Poletto will leave the table of the Florentine fashion house, which has been in charge for about two years.
The rumors speak of a break with Poletto, following a not particularly brilliant year for the Florentine fashion group. Indeed 2017 revenues show a 3.1% drop compared to 2016 performances, amounting to around 4.5 million euros.
However, the president Ferruccio Ferragamo speaks of a consensual separation. He has not failed to renew the group’s thanks to the outgoing manager.
Eraldo has come after the historical maison manager Michele Norsa. The previous ad dove Ferragamo for a decade and had focused a lot on financial results. Ferragamo was therefore listed on the stock exchange under his direction, in 2011.
Poletto, for its part, instead led the company towards a more digital future and in step with the time. Eraldo has had a greater sensitivity towards the product and the brand. Sensitivity that the manager had already matured as Furla CEO.
